Dental Implant Specialist in Gurgaon
When people search for a dental implant specialist in Gurgaon, they are really asking one thing: who can I trust to put something permanent in my jaw? The word specialist on a signboard does not settle that by itself. This page explains what the word can and cannot tell you, what to verify with any dentist across the city, and exactly who provides implant care at The Tooth Atelier.

What "specialist" does and does not mean
Implantology is not one of the separate MDS branches in India. Implants are placed by prosthodontists, periodontists, oral surgeons and general dentists who have added this work to their practice. So a title alone is a weak signal. It is better to ask what a dentist has been trained in, how they plan a case, and how they deal with problems.
Who provides implants here
We would rather give you the exact qualification than a title. Dr Anjali Malik holds a BDS from PGIDS Rohtak, and implants are part of her regular work alongside root canals, crowns and smile design. She examines you, plans the case and stays with you through it, so you can put all of the questions below to her directly.
What to verify before you agree to surgery
- The name of the person placing the implant. Ask for their qualification and whether they will also see you for the crown.
- The implant system. A recognised brand matters because parts may be needed years from now. This clinic uses Osstem and Dentium, both Korean systems.
- How the bone is assessed. Nothing should be committed to before imaging has been reviewed with you.
- Your general health. Expect questions about diabetes, smoking and gum disease, all of which affect healing.
- What happens if the implant does not take. It is uncommon, and a careful dentist will still discuss it before you start.
A warning sign to watch for
Be careful with anyone who promises that every case is simple, or who cannot explain why an implant suits you better than a bridge. Sometimes the honest answer is that an implant is not right for you at all, and you should be able to hear that without feeling sold to.

Frequently asked questions
What is Dr Anjali Malik's qualification?
She holds a BDS from PGIDS Rohtak and provides implants as part of her practice. We state the degree rather than a title so that you can judge for yourself.
Do I need an oral surgeon for an implant?
Not always. It depends on your bone, the position of the tooth and your health. Complex cases can call for more specialised input, which is why assessment comes first.
Which implant brands are used?
The clinic uses the Korean Osstem and Dentium systems.
Can I bring an implant plan from another clinic?
Yes. Bring your X-rays and the plan you were given, and the doctor will go through them with you.
